these are from the trip with my mum - to the pre-christmas Kraków ♥
we visited the Wawel, about four churches and the university, x-mas markets, where I bought these little wooden figures and we also went to see the old jewish town, so interesting! and at the end I had delicious apple pie :) (the tallest pie I've ever seen :)!)
than there's a pic with the kiosk with special polish pastry called "obwarzanky", something like bagels, so delicious too! and under it mee, eating one in the different shape, with cheese...
and on the last one - funny bookshop window full of dwarf books, hehe)

I finally passed all my exams, so here I'm, scanned 4 rolls of film today, yay :)! so many photos, here are some.. from christmas ;)! my lovely "tree" with small wooden figures (bought at x-mas markets atKrakow), still stands on my shelter ♥
and that lovely hand made snowflake is from Ally, thank U :*

and some pics of our "official"x-mas tree, we have it for three years now :)

Prague - THE MUSEUM OF YOUNG ART.

some good and some bad young czech art (you can see there David Černý, Jiří David, Krištof Kintera etc.) at the cool old houses near the Charles bridge... and some of them are really creepy, f.e. that horse is taxidermy real horse as well as that dogs and cat before that couch :/

and we were also at Starbucks for the first time in my life :D the coffee was good but too expensive and V. doesn't drink coffee, so he had some black tea, poor boy.. :))

thai food at amazing Siam Orchid restaurant, I really recommend it!
(I had chicken Kai Sa-Te, Paneang Mu curry with pork and sticky rise and V. had thai soup Tom Kha Kai, some red curry with beaf and also sticky rice :))

I visited so many christmas markets this season! 1. at London (you already saw the photos from there ;)), 2. at our village, 3. at the school, where my mum works, 4. at Ostrava (CZ), 5. at Krakow (Poland) and 6. at Kravaře (small town near Opava, CZ) ... and here are some photos from Kravaře - necessary punch, baked caramel nuts, baking shapes (I bought that teddy little one) etc.
And it was held at the castle, so there were beautiful decorations!

and this is a teddy made from the nuts, cute, isn't? I bought him at the school market, some pupils made him, but it's yuite simply, U can make it yourself, U just need some nuts, fusing glue gun and a ribbon :), good luck ;)!

...there were a special bargain offer at the Ikea restaurant - every dessert per 5 CZK (= 0,2 eur / 0,27 usd), so we bought 5 of it and ate it all :D! (and look at that cute little paper sweeden flags!) ... and I have to say, that they have qouite good coffee too!...
...we were also at my favourite shop - H&M, where I bought a lovely grey top with the 3/4 sleeves and P. bought for her that striped dresses, which she tried out on the last pics :)...

...v Ikea byla spešl výhodná nabídka - dezert za 5 Kč, tak jsme si jich koupily 5 a sežraly je všechny :D! (a koukejte na ty roztomilé švédské vlaječky!) ... a musím přiznat, že tam mají docela dobré kafe!
...byly jsme taky v mém oblíbeném HáEmku, kde jsme si koupila hezké šedé podzimní triko s 3/4 rukávy a P. si tam koupila ty proužkované šaty, co si zkouší na poslední fotce :)...

we finally tried to develop my rolls with C41 process at home! yippee! and here are the first results - other photos with beautiful Petra ♥
there are some blue stripes on some of the photos, don't know why, but still, I think it's a succces :)! ... more photos soon!

konečně jsme se dokopali k tomu zkusit doma vyvolat mé svitky procesem C-41! jupí! a tady jsou první výsledky - další fotky s krásnou Peťkou ♥
na některých fotkách jsou divné modré pruhy, nevím proč, ale i tak myslím, že je to úspěch :)! ... více fotek brzy!

..when we were at Prague in August, we ate at the french restaurant Brasserie La Gare.. we were there for the second time, because for the first time their food was just amazing!..

..at this time (just like the last time) we got the fresh baguettes from their bakery with a homemade butter, we also ordered a decanter of the white french wine and a bottle of watter and V. had "Soupe à l’oignon" (the onion soup) as a starter.. /
..když jsme byli v srpnu v Praze, jedli jsme v restauraci Brasserie La Gare, kde jsme jedli už podruhé, protože poprvé bylo jejich jídlo fakt úžasné!
..tentokrát jsme opět dostali čerstvou bagetku z jejich pekárny s domácím máslem, tkay jsem si objednali karafu bílého francouzského vína a lahev vody.. V. si jako předkrm dal francouzskou cibulovou polévku..

..as a main meal I had "Saumon poché au Noilly Prat" (poached Salmon with Noilly Prat) and the variation of three side dishes - mashed potatoes, bean-pods with the chanterelle and cous-cous, all served at the little cute Staub pots ♥.. and V. had "Civet de lapin à la Povençale" (Provence rabbit).. /
..jako hlavní jídlo jsem dala Pošírovaného lososa s vermouthem Noilly Prat a variace tří příloh - bramborovou kaši, fazolové lusky s liškama a kuskus, všechno servírováno v roztomilých rendlíčcích Staub ♥.. a V. si dal Králíka po Provensálsku ..

..and I just can't resist their so so good looking desserts and at the end I ordered this beautiful and heavenly delicious mascarpone-raspberries pie.. /
.. a prostě jsem nemohla odolat jejich skvěle vypadjícím dezertům a objednala si tenhle krásný a božsky chutný koláč s mascarpone a malinami..

..and here's something from our way back home - V. at Pendolina train and my Crocodilo sandwich, yum :)! /

today I have a shooting with my beautiful french looking (she sometimes has the same facial expressions as Charlotte Gainsbourg sometimes!) schoolmate Petra! we walked throught the long park in Ostrava, made a small breaks for the shootings and have fun :)! it was her first shooting as a model, but she was fantastic! I used almost 4 rolls of film, 2 with mamiya (at the top), 1 with Flexaret and one with Pentax.. I'm looking forwart to the photos very much! thanks a lot, Peti :)!

dnes jsem měla focení s mou krásnou francouzsky vypadajácí (někdy má mimiku jako Charlotte Gainsbourg!) spolužačkou Petrou! procházely jsme se dlouhým ostravským parkem, dělaly malé přestávky pro focení a užívaly si to :)! bylo to její 1. "modelování", ale byla úžasná! ... použila jsem skoro 4 filmy, 2 do Mamiye (viz nahoře), 1 do Flexarety a jeden film do Pentaxu (nedofoceno).. strašně moc se těším na výsledky! :)! a děkuju moc, Peti :)!

finally I've tried my new Emile Henry's pie form! I know I've written that the first one with it will be the salted caramel apple pie, but it was this jummy tarte indeed :)...
the recipe is from my M&S easy baking cookbook (click on the first photo for the view), it's made of loads of organic lemons and eggs, you'll spend hours with baking it (the recipe says to bake it for 15+20 minutes, but I had to bake it for about 20+50 minutes), but believe me, the result really worth for it!
that fresh sooo lemon heavenly taste!

konečně jsem vyzkoušela svou novou Emile Henry koláčovou formu! vím, že jsem psala, že jako první v ní upeču jablkový koláč se slaným karamelem, ale nakonec to byl tenhle ňami tarte :)
recept mám z mé M&S easy baking kuchařky, je udělaný z hodně moc bio citronků a vajec, strávíte s ním hodiny (recept říká, že se má péct 15+20 minut, ale musela jsem ho péct okolo 20+50 minut), ale věřte mi, že výsledek stojí za to!

yesterday we were on the trip in Prague to buy a new cameras - my own Pentax ME super and this "little one" - Mamiya RB67, love it! and here are the first photos from it, look! ♥
we were there also because the good food and art exhibitions, but more about it later ;), U know, i'm so excited from my Mamiya right now!

včera jsme byli na výletě v Praze koupit nové foťáky - můj vlastní entax ME super a tohohle "drobečka" (soukromě mu říkáme cvalík :)) - Mamiya RB67, miluju ji! a tady jsou první fotky z ní, koukněte ♥!
byli jsme tam taky kvůli dobrému jídlu a výstavám, ale o tom později ;), chápete, že jsem nadšená hlavně z Mamiye!

for the sunday breakfast we baked delicious crunchy warm irish soda bread scones ♥ ... we eat them with the butter and the Bonne Maman strawberry marmalade (me) and the Philadelphia fresh cheese and the Bonne Maman fig marmalade (V.), sooo delicious!

na nedělní snídani jsme si upekli čerstvé křupavé teplé irské chlebové "houstičky" ♥ ... dali jsme si je s máslem a Bonne Maman jahodovou marmeládou (já) a s Philadelphia čerstvým sýrem a fíkovou Bonne Maman (V.), delikátní!

for the lunch V. cooked yellow thai curry (yellow curry paste, coconut milk, chicken meat and potatoes) with sticky (glutinous) rice, one of my favourite meal! (I really enjoy eating with chopsticks!) and made for a homemade ice tea from the thai oolong called "Ching Ching"

na oběd V. uvařil thajské žluté kari (žlutá kari pasta, kokosové mlíko, kuřecí maso a brambory) s lepivou rýží, jedno z mých nejoblíbenějších jídel! (fakt si užívám jezení hůlkama ;))!) a udělal nám k tomu domácí ledový čaj z thajského oolongu "Ching Ching"

and before I went home from this lovely weekend with him, V. has made for me "an afternoon tea" - the rest of the ice tea + that scones with marmalade :)

weekend food adventures I.

our last weekend was full of food again :D!
for the saturday lunch V. cooked for us: steaks from sirloin with the sauce from red biowine, butter, shallots and fresh thyme + baked pattypan squashes from my garden :)

náš víkend byl zase jednou plný jídla :D!
na sobotní oběd nám V. uvařil: stejky z hovězí svíčkové s omáčkou z červeného biovína, másla, šalotek a čerstvého tymiánu + pečené patizonky z mojí zahrádky :)

than I decided to make a plummy marmalade, but V. made a suggestion to make a powidl, so I tried to make both of it and the results were: 2 jars of very sweet "nottasteslikeplums" marmalade :D and 1 jar of sour powidl :D (from 1,5 kg fresh plumps!), but still, I made my owl jam and powidl, yipee :))!

pak jsme se rozhodla dělat švestkovou marmeládu, ale V. navrhl, že bych mohla zkusit udělat povidla, takže jsem zkusila oboje a výsledkem byly: 2 skleničky velmi velmi sladké "nejakošvestkychutnající" marmelády :D a 1 sklenička kyselých povidel (z 1,5 kg čerstvých švestek!), ale stejně, je to moje vlastní marmeláda a povidla, jupí :))!

on thursday me and my mum harvested some crops from our, actually garlics, onions and some of my herbs - oregano, thyme and the wild thyme.. they're hanging around and drying up now :) .. smell so nice ♥

our todays sweet lunch made by me - curd cheese dumplings with strawberries and plums inside and hot strawberry sauce, yum :)!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
náš dnešní sladký oběd, který jsem stvořila - tvarohové knedlíky plněné jahodami a švestkami a horkou jahodovou omáčkou, mňam :)!

recipe for about 12 dumplings:
1. mix together (use the blender) 250 g curd cheese, 1 egg, 2 tbs sugar and a pinch of salt
2. add 50 g melded butter and mix it together again
3. slowly add and mix about 180 g flour into the mixture, then start to make the balls, if the dough would be too sticky, just add more flour!
4. fill the balls with your favourite fruit :)!
5. boil the watter, salt it and put the dumpling into it
6. after 10 minutes dumplings should float on the water and be ready to put on the plates :)!
7. you can pour on them some fruit sauce, melted butter or what do you want and sprinkle it with the sugar...
8. bon apetite! ♥

recept na asi 12 knedlíků:
1. promixujte spolu 250 g tvarohu, 1 vejce, 2 lžíce cukru a špetku soli
2. přidejte 50 g rozpuštěného másla a znovu promixujte
3. postupně ke směsi přidávejte asi 180 g mouky, vždy dobře zamixujte, pak můžete začít tvořit kuličky, pokud by se těsto příliš lepilo, přidejte další mouku
4. naplňte kuličky svým oblíbeným ovocem
5. přiveďte k varu vodu, osolte ji a vhoďte knedlíčky
6. po asi 10 minutách by měly vyplavat na hladinu a být připravené k podávání :)!
7. můžete je přelít ovocnou omáčkou, rozpuštěným máslem nebo čímkoli chcete a posypat cukrem...
8. dobrou chuť! ♥

..I told U about my new webside, which was a present from my b-friend to my b-day, but I got other lovely things from him ♥ ..
..so here is a homemade box of truffles, 4 flavours, God that was delicious!..
..and this great beautiful Emile Henry's baking form, I'm really excited about the first baking with it, I think it'll be our favourite salted caramel apple pie, yum!..
(btw that ragged ribbon is a sign, that he really tried hard :D and that bubble sheeting is another present indeed :D! love the popping that bubbles!)

..už jsem vám říkala o mém novém webu, který jsem dostala jako dárek od přítele k narozeninám, ale dostala jsem od něj i další rozmilé věci ♥ ..
..domácí bonboniéru plnou truflíků (pralinek), bože ty byly tak úžasné!..
..a taky tuhle krásnou formu na pečení od Emila Henryho, už se vážně těším na první pečení s ní, myslím, že to bude náš oblíbený jablkový koláč se slaným karamelem, ňam!..
(mimochodem ta otrhaná stužka je známkou toho, že se doopravdy snažil :D a ta megabublinková bublinková fólie je vlastně dalším dárkem :D! miluju praskání bublinek!)

Yesterday I saw a movie Lolita with Jeremy Irons and Dominique Swain. Two years ago I read a book and it became one of my favourites. I think, also in this case, that book is alway better than a movie. But Irons and Swain..they were so real! She was such a little bitch! And he.. so charming and so nasty! Really well played movie, I highly recommend it!

But even more I recommend U a book... U'll fall in love after the the first few sentences immediately... ♥

Včera jsem viděla Lolitu s Jeremy Ironsem a Dominique Swain. Dva roky zpět jsem četla knihu, stala se jednou z mých nejoblíbenějších. Myslím, taky v tomhle případě, že kniha je vždy lepší než film... Ale Irons a Swain...byli tak opravdoví! Ona byla taková malá mrcha! A on.. tak okouzlující a chlípný! Fakt dobře zahraný film, vřele doporučuju!

Ale ještě více doporučuju knihu! Ihned si ji zamilujete hned po prvních pár větách... ♥

another funny activity at the cottage - V.'s mum learnt me how to bake a yeast pie... fresh fruits from the garden and milky scented dough was just fantastic and that pies were SOOO delicious! we had it for the breakfast for three days :))... (btw love that plates they have at the cottage!)

další zábavná aktivitana chatě - V.ého mamka mě učila péct kynutý koláč... čerstvé ovoce ze zahrady a mléčně bonící těsto bylo úžasné a koláče pak TAK dobré! snídali jsme je ještě tři dny :))... (mimochodem, miluju ty jejich talíře, co mají na chatě!)

a few digi photos from the cottage in the Beskydy mountains, where I spend three day's with V. and his parents :)... we have a nice time there, we grilled a lot of veggie, veal and of course some sausages at the fire place :)! V. read a lot, I made some cross-words out from the old magazines which I found there and I took loads of photos, so more (analog!) photos later... :)

pár digifotek z beskydské chaty, kde jsme s V. a jeho rodiči strávily tři fajn dny... grilovali jsme spoustu zeleniny, telecího masa a samozřejmě nesměly chybět ani špekáčky na ohni :)! V. hodně četl, já luštila křížovky ze starých časopisů a samozřejmě hodně moc fotila, takže více (analogových!) fotek příště... :)

dream factory theatre festival.

...some photos from the 3. Dream factory theatre festival, which was held in Ostrava at the industrial place called Důl Hlubina in early June :)...
this year wasn't as good as the last one, but still, it was fun!
I think we'll visit it also the next year, because we just love theatre!

..by two lovely women (mother and daughter) which create under the brand "FF design"..
..they create beautiful cards and other things from the hand made paper, take photos and they also sew lovely small animals ♥..
I ordered by they a weeding card for my friends and it was amazing, the bride and groom was excited from it! and for me is that small green kitty as a broche, U just must love her ♥ and of course that two very kind designers! thanks a lot, dears :*!

další milý balíček!.. od dvou milých žen (matky a dcery), které tvoří pod značkou "FF design"..
..tvoří nádherná přání a další věci z ručního papíru, fotí a taky šijí roztomilá zvířátka ♥..
Objednala jsem u nich svatební přání pro kamarády ke svatbě a byli z něj nadšení! a pro sebe jsem si u nich vybrala tu malou milou zelenou kočičku (brožičku), nejde ji nemilovat ♥ a samozřejmě stejně tak tyhle dvě milé designérky! díky moc, milé :*!

V. was in Germany on the business trip and come back to CZ few days ago and brought me this lovely box of sweets, actually of marzipan pralines, which tastes delicious :)! What a great man! :D
